Brothers in Arms

Gambar
Arthur`s brother Vince had a beat up old junk car that he bought for a few dollars from a dealer who was about to sell it for scrap metal. The car was in bad condition, but at least it was road-worthy. Vince took great care of the car. It was his prized posession, but no matter how much Arthur begged and pleaded, his older brother would never let him drive it. A few months later, Vince joined the army and just before he went to boot camp, Arthur asked him if he could drive the car while he was away. His older brother thought it over and agreed to let the younger boy use the car, but only under two conditions. As he handed over the keys, Vince made Arthur promise never to drink and drive, never to go over 60 miles per hour, and never ever to smoke cigarettes in the car. The younger brother was eager to get to use the car so he agreed to all three conditions even though he wondered why his brother was so obsessed with taking care of a junk car. Six months later, Arthur’s f

Just Another Story

This is story when i was studying graduation and residing in hostel. Day time was good we all spent nice time in our college all sorts of enjoyments fun and thrill we did. But these fun and thrills slows down till evening and becomes the silence of death at night. No one remains awake after 11 pm. Many stories of hearing a scream in the middle of the night and noise of rushing of people barefooted were noticed by senior students...so it was an occasion of diwali to which everyone went to their homes. It was me and my friend who left due to some reasons. The night of diwali was awesome as me and my friend vikas use to put crackers and light them inside dormitory baathrooms.. to the exitement the crackers explode aftersome time...and hence giving goosebumps.on the another night after the festival again covered the dead silence...Me and my friend after eating the meal lay on the bed and in few minutes felt asleep. After some time when i opened my eyes the time was 2:45

Mirror

Fear of mirrors (and this confession consists of the word 'washroom' quite a lot of times, if you people want to make fun of it just for some likes, go ahead) Whenever i am awake at night, thinking about stuff, i just wish i dont get the urge to go to the washroom. i dont want to ! not because of the scary-half lit corridors (with enough light to show you every corner and every shadow, but not enough to cover up the fears), not because of the thought of spending two minutes in a small room (the washroom) which is said to be the home of djinns and all sorts of evil creatures, and not because when i will come back to bed in the darkness, i could find another person sleeping here. but because of the few seconds i will have to spend washing my hands on the wash basin in front of the mirror. i am suffering from 'fear of mirrors'. I dont know when it started, but it has completely taken over my mind now. even in broad daylight i dont want to see a mirror. many peop

People Who Don't Like Long Stories, Don't Read Further

This is a true incident that happened with my neighbour who is also one of my best friends. He works as a manager in a holiday resort company whose name I can't disclose. My friend had got a posting in one of the branches of the resort in between Kasara and Nasik. This incident occurred in May 2012. The company had given him a small guest house to stay for the time for which he would work in that branch of the resort. Being summer, he had also taken his family that is 2 children and his wife there since the children had holidays. This guest house is located in a slight far and lonely area. Their family shifted in the guest house for the temporary stay for a few weeks. The friend told me that from the day they shifted to that place, from that night itself, strange things were occurring. This friend has two children, one six year old and one 8 year old boy. At around 1.30 am in the night, the small boy would get up and go to the terrace and start talking to someone. Th

Ghost Confessions Stories

Today, I'm gonna add a new entrant to the list of scary things. Ever seen those old-fashioned lifts without electrical operations? The ones that have to be opened and closed manually? I've had a scientifically impossible experience with one at my home. I'd moved to Rajkot, and I lived on 2F. Apart from the ground floor and my own apartment, the whole 5F building was empty. Usually, when I used to go to the roof to chill out, the lift's lights would start to flicker. Being an engineering student, I obviously took it to be a loose connection of sorts. "There's no such thing as ghosts", I'd heard right from childhood. And trust me on this, I totally believed it. Until one day. There was a power failure in the town, so I decided to use the staircase. On 1F, while playing with my bike keys, I accidently dropped them through the floor-gates of the lift, to the bottom. It freaked me out a little at first, but I went to the ground floor anyway a

Tek Tek Urban Legend

Gambar
Tek Tek or Teke-Teke is an urban legend from Japan about a girl who fell under a train and was cut in half. She took a long time to die and now her ghost roams through Japan, dragging her top half along using her claw-like hands. Every time she moves, she makes a “teke-teke”sound. There is a story about a young boy who was leaving his school one evening when he heard a noise behind him. Looking back, he saw a beautiful girl sitting at a window. The girl had her arms propped up on the window sill and was just staring out at him. He wondered why she was there, because it was an all-boys school. When she saw him looking back at her, the girl smiled and hugged herself so that she was holding her elbows. Then suddenly, she leaped out of the window and landed on the ground outside. The boy realized with horror, that she was missing the lower half of her body. She made her way towards him, clawing along the ground and running on her elbows making a tek-tek-tek-tek-tek sound. The boy w
