Twelve bank robberies are linked to a modern-day Bonnie and Clyde. RoLeyTi *•. CASE DETAILS It was a typical day at the Klamath First Federal Bank in Bend, Oregon. The bank was about to close and bank teller Rhonda Dent looked forward to a serene evening at home with her husband and four children. Then suddenly, a gunman entered the bank: “He took control, and he scared us. He intimidated us. There was no thought in anybody's mind of trying to set an alarm off. So he made us all go into the vault, and then he had me fill the bags. After I was done, he told me to go over and get on my knees. And he tied me up. I was scared. I was terrified at that point because I thought, ‘He's going to shoot us all.’” Four years… twelve banks… over half a million dollars. That was the track record of two outlaw lovers named Craig Pritchert and Nova Guthrie. No wonder some saw them as a modern day Bonnie and Clyde. Craig Pritchert once seemed destined for athletic stardom. But wh...

School Classes Suspended Over ''EVIL SPIRITS''

Gambar
A case of mass hysteria has hit a school in the Philippines involving more than 20 teenage students. The incident took place at Isaac Lopez Integrated School in Mandaluyong City and started when a Grade 8 teacher observed one girl fainting while another stood up and started to act strangely towards her unconscious classmate, prompting staff to restrain her. Later the same day several more students started to act in a similar way, some convulsing on the floor while others exhibited uncontrollable bouts of hysteric crying. Things eventually got so out of hand that parents were coming to the school to pick up their children and the principal had no choice but to suspend classes for the day. Some of the students were allowed to return home while others were taken to a nearby church and blessed in the belief that it would rid them of evil spirits. An officer in charge of the school believes that the incident stemmed from a group of students who had visited a graveyard and conducted ...

Don't Turn on the Light

She commandeered the room in the basement of her dorm as soon as she realized she would have to pull an all-nighter in order to prepare for tomorrow’s final exam. Her roommate, Jenna, liked to get to bed early, so she packed up everything she thought she would need and went downstairs to study . . . and study . . . and study some more. It was two o’clock, when she realized that she’d left one of the textbooks upstairs on her bed. With a dramatic sigh, she rose, and climbed the stairs slowly to her third-floor dorm room. The lights were dim in the long hallway, and the old boards creaked under her weary tread. She reached her room and turned the handle as softly as she could, pushing the door open just enough to slip inside, so that the hall lights wouldn’t wake her roommate. The room was filled with a strange, metallic smell. She frowned a bit, her arms breaking out into chills. There was a strange feeling of malice in the room, as if a malevolent gaze were fixed upon her. It ...

Moundsville Penitentiary Shadow Man

Paranormal Photos – Fact or Fiction First of all it should be noted that this photo is believed by many to have been debunked, that it is not a capture of paranormal phenomena, and that it is just a shadow. However, not everyone agrees with this, including many researchers and/or investigators, hence the reason it is being presented to you to make up your own minds. This photo was taken by Polly Gear in 2004. Polly was investigating the non operational West Virginia State Penitentiary in Moundsville, West Virginia. The penitentiary is reportedly haunted with a number of shadow figures having been witnessed by those visiting. Asides from the 94 men executed there (85 via hanging, one being decapitated by the noose and 9 meeting their fates sitting on "Old Sparky" the electric chair), there were also 36 homicides – inmates murdering other inmates. The Penitentiary went out of commission in 1995, and nine years later this quite eerie photo was taken after Polly encount...

The Bell Witch Ghosts and Hauntings/Folklore

Gambar
In 1804, John Bell and his wife Lucy, packed up their belongings in North Carolina, and with all nine children in tow, moved to Tennessee. It would have been a nice, peaceful life, with John buying up parcels of land till he had accumulated just over 300 acres. Unfortunately, during this period of buying up property, he had slighted his neighbour, Kate Batts. She believed John had cheated her on a land purchase and never forgave him. We can imagine the type of anger that would have eventuated between the two, but this would not stop at being just a neighbourly quarrel – this feud would become a thing of legend. Kate Batts died sometime before 1817, and on her deathbed, still carrying a grudge towards John, she swore she would haunt the Bell family and all of their descendants. Beginning in 1817, the Bell family began to experience strange occurrences in their home. It started out as a faint tapping and scratching on the walls, and soon a whispering voice could be heard. As th...

Aokigahara Jukai, Dark and Macabre Places

Gambar
Aokigahara Jukai, Suicide Forest, Japan Aokigahara Jukai, Sea of Trees is a 35km square forest that lies on the north-west base of Mt Fuji in Japan. The forest floor is made up of very hard volcanic rock which anchors the thousands of trees securely to the ground. It is a popular tourist destination for its rocky, icy caverns naturally formed over the millennia. Aokigahara is also popular with those who aim to enter the forest with no intention of ever returning. The density of the trees, and the relative lack of wildlife, gives the forest an eerily quiet yet peaceful presence. Unfortunately, those walking amongst the trees in the serenity more often than not have the peace shattered as they stumble across a body. Aokigahara is also known as 'The Suicide Forest'. For decades, dozens of bodies each year have been recovered from the forest. Prior to 1988 an average of 30 suicides took place within the forest each year. In 1998 the number had risen to 74 and since the ...
